Transparency and Accountability

In order to secure the ongoing trust of the community, openness is necessary between the District Attorney’s Office and the people it serves. Transparency and accountability built on open, persistent dialogue – listening and sharing – are paramount. My office will establish a Community Relations Officer responsible for with maintaining dialogue with media outlets across the Cape and Islands, being directly responsive to individual citizens seeking information, tracking data, and producing an Annual Report to the Public.
